Noventra Semax 3ML/ 10MG Multi dose Pen
What is Semax?
Semax is a synthetic neuropeptide derived from a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH). It was originally developed by the Russian Academy of Sciences and has been studied extensively for its potential cognitive-enhancing, neuroprotective, and neurorestorative effects. In Russia, Semax has been used clinically for neurological conditions including stroke recovery and cognitive impairment.
Semax is composed of seven amino acids:
Methionyl-Glutamyl-Histidyl-Phenylalanyl-Prolyl-Glycyl-Proline (MEHFPGP).
How Semax Works
Research suggests Semax may work through several pathways:
1. BDNF Enhancement
Semax appears to increase levels of Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF), a protein involved in:
- Learning
- Memory formation
- Neuroplasticity
- Neuron survival
Higher BDNF levels are generally associated with improved cognitive performance and brain resilience.
2. Neurotransmitter Modulation
Semax has been shown to influence:
- Dopamine
- Serotonin
These neurotransmitters are heavily involved in:
- Focus
- Motivation
- Mood
- Mental energy
This may explain why many users report improved concentration and mental clarity.
3. Neuroprotection
Studies suggest Semax may:
- Protect neurons during periods of stress
- Reduce damage from hypoxia
- Support mitochondrial function
- Promote neuronal survival
These effects have made Semax a subject of research for stroke and neurodegenerative disorders.
